Our Story

Peppajoy, celebrated as the official hot sauce of the Turks and Caicos Islands, is a bold expression of Caribbean culture and rich, authentic flavour. While the recipe is now produced in various countries, its slogan—“The Heat of the Turks and Caicos”—remains a proud tribute to its origins and cultural heritage.

The Island Roots

The founder of Peppajoy, a Blue Hills native launched Peppajoy in 2010 with the creation of his first original recipe. A scotch bonnet pepper sauce distinguished by its subtle guava sweetness.

What started as a small project in his home kitchen quickly grew. The concept for the brand was inspired by his grandmother's “island style” cooking.

To this day, despite scaling up in size, all of Peppajoy sauces remain all natural, produced in small batches with fresh ingredients only & without any preservatives. The handcrafted touch can be savored in every bite.

In recent years, the Peppajoy brand has become a sought-after souvenir for visitors to the Turks and Caicos Islands—capturing the essence of the destination through its vibrant colors, warm island breeze, and the rich culinary heritage of its people
